Hunters', St Johns School in Epping, design was successfully voted through planning
HuntersÂ’, St Johns School in Epping, design was successfully voted through planning by 40 votes out of 42 (two abstained!). Seven teams were originally short-listed, the Hunters design team carried out a number of workshops and presentations to create a final winning design which was based on both evolving educational needs and on the requirements of children, parents and staff.

Forming part of the Higgins Bid Consortium, this 750 place school for children aged from 11 to 16 has a construction value of £22million. It is set adjacent to green belt land with large playing fields, so the landscaping aspect of the design was a substantial part of the winning element.
